If you have an old piano that nobody wants to play - please, let me know :) I give a new life to the old pianos by changing their sound and playing my own music created especially for the "new" intrument. It is called PIANO PREPARATION - I place objects in between/on the strings [wine corks, screws, mounting putty, gaffer, wooden sticks, jar caps etc]. It is a temporary alteration - after a concert I remove all the objects and the instrument stays intact.
If there is no piano at the venue - I can easily transport my own upright piano.
PREPARED PIANOS sound like all kinds of instruments - drumms, handpan, harpsichord, kalimba, double bass.
It gives an impression of playing with electronic samples, but each sound is created by the acoustic possibilities of the piano's mechanism.
